What’s Your Role?
As a Senior Data Architect, you’ll be a key driver in establishing data standards, reference architectures, and best practices for both OLTP and OLAP systems. Your expertise will shape solutions that influence business decisions and ensure that our data platforms are robust, secure, and scalable. If you’re passionate about creating efficient data migration strategies, optimizing databases, and diving into AI/ML technologies, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and enforce data standards across the organization for various platforms and data technologies.
- Design data architectures that support both operational and analytical datastores, and provide solutions for enterprise-level applications using Azure Data Platform.
- Lead data migration efforts, ensuring smooth ETL processes, and handle data quality, lineage, and catalog management.
- Collaborate with agile teams and help define technical solutions for a variety of complex data use cases.
- Leverage deep expertise in Cloud technologies, NoSQL, SQL, and Data Lake/Warehousing to design scalable solutions.
- Communicate the value of data architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on data architecture, data modeling, and cloud technologies.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data architecture.
- Expertise in designing ER, logical, physical, and conceptual data models for large enterprises.
- Advanced knowledge in Azure, Data Factory, SQL, NoSQL, and ETL tools like Informatica.
- Deep understanding of data governance, data security, and data resilience for high-availability, distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native ecosystems, Kubernetes, and data Lake/Warehouse technologies is a plus.
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Qlik.
- Familiarity with Agency Management Systems like Applied EPIC or Vertafore Sagitta.
- Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Data Bricks.
