SCADask Research Assistant

Job Description:

Are you passionate about research and eager to contribute to groundbreaking academic projects? SCAD is looking for a dedicated Research Assistant to support research teams in creating high-quality academic content. As a key member of SCADask, you’ll work closely with faculty, students, and fellow research assistants on impactful research that aligns with SCAD's rigorous academic standards.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with faculty, students, and other researchers to ensure research projects run smoothly.
  • Craft compelling documents and research reports that communicate complex findings in a clear and engaging way.
  • Oversee survey delivery – ensuring timelines are met and participant engagement is strong.
  • Help manage logistics for research projects to keep things organized and on track.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills – be able to develop complex ideas into polished, accurate documents.
  • A knack for visualizing information and communicating ideas effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in academic research methods and the ability to interpret data accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or Communications + at least one year of professional experience.
  • Bonus: Master’s or Ph.D. in a related field; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, etc.), survey research software (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, Google Forms), and AI tools.
