Your Day at NTT DATA:

This individual contributor role is all about driving efficiency and compliance within the travel and expense domain. As the T&E policy subject matter expert, you will ensure expenses submitted through reporting tools or company credit cards are in compliance with internal guidelines. This role offers you the chance to make an impact by suggesting process improvements and contributing to the month-end close process—all while supporting a global, fast-moving company.

What You’ll Be Doing:

???? T&E Oversight: Review and manage travel expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company policy, and resolve any out-of-policy exceptions.

???? Efficiency & Process Improvement: Provide feedback to accounting leadership and IT to enhance system processes and controls.

???? Month-End Close: Participate in journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and provide support for T&E and other financial statement accounts.

???? Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to assist employees with expense reports, reimbursements, and related queries.

???? Metric Tracking & Reporting: Compile monthly travel expense reporting, track policy exceptions, and create measurement metrics for company compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3+ years of public or private accounting experience, with a focus on T&E activities.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with Concur, Oracle, or SAP preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Team Player: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
