Job Summary:

Are you ready to dive into an innovative environment where you can enhance health data quality and accessibility? Do you have a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive health equity? If so, the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute is looking for a motivated Research Fellow to join our Therapeutics and Infectious Disease Epidemiology (TIDE) group. Here, you will collaborate with local, state, and national experts to lead groundbreaking research in Artificial Intelligence and Biomedical Informatics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovate: Lead or contribute to population health informatics and patient-centered outcomes research projects that leverage AI, Web 3.0, and more.
• Collaborate: Develop grant proposals, research protocols, and data analysis plans alongside diverse teams of healthcare and informatics experts.
• Communicate: Prepare and publish manuscripts detailing your research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Explore: Investigate novel data sources and emerging technologies, applying your findings to real-world clinical and community settings.
• Engage: Present your research outcomes to internal and external stakeholders, enhancing knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, or ScD) or in a doctoral program in health informatics, public health, or a related field.
• Research Skills: Proficiency in research methods, electronic databases, and data standards for interoperability (e.g., FHIR, HL7).
• Technical Know-How: Ability to analyze complex healthcare data and use AI/ML techniques effectively.
• Communication: Strong written and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and present findings.
• Independence: Self-motivated with effective time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
