Join us as a Junior Data Engineer, where you'll play a critical role in advancing USCENTCOM's AI/ML capabilities and modernizing data operations.

???? What You’ll Do:

???? Lakehouse Data Platform Development:
Support and enhance the CCJ2 Lakehouse Data Management Platform, integrating cloud applications and services to optimize data operations across multiple security environments (UC2S, SC2S, TC2S).

???? AI/ML Test & Integration:
Enhance AI/ML compute spaces, integrating new tools to support advanced research and development initiatives, including reusable AI/ML processing modules and cross-domain data transfers.

???? Data Visualization & Dashboards:
Develop web-based dashboards for seamless data visualization, enabling operational teams to access and interpret critical data efficiently.

????? Secure Cloud Solutions:
Implement and administer secure cloud environments while supporting systems such as the USCENTCOM J2 website and the Virtual Joint Operations Center (VJOC).

???? Data Science & Model Development:
Support AI/ML model development and testing in Jupyter Notebooks/Lab, conducting statistical analysis to predict and verify model accuracy.

???? Innovation & Integration:
Evaluate emerging modeling tools and AI techniques, integrating additional processes to streamline operations and improve global data sharing.

????? What You Bring:

???? Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, with recent experience in the last 2 years
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET framework and SQL database systems
• Familiarity with REST/RPC APIs and cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
• Experience in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge of GOLang is a bonus

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (or an additional 4 years of experience)

???? Desired Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with AWS RDS and Aurora databases
• Familiarity with secure system operations and cloud-based application development
