Position Overview:
Are you an expert in IT monitoring, operational intelligence, and AI-driven insights? Red River is looking for an experienced Enterprise IT Monitoring and Management Specialist with a deep understanding of Broadcom DX Operational Intelligence (DX OI), as well as alternative tools like Splunk ITSI, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic One, and more. Your role will be pivotal in optimizing, securing, and future-proofing our IT infrastructure through seamless monitoring and data-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Monitoring Deployments: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Broadcom DX OI and other enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog), delivering robust monitoring solutions across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.

• Integration Mastery: Integrate monitoring solutions such as New Relic One, IBM Instana, and SolarWinds AppOptics to provide a unified, cross-platform view of multi-cloud and hybrid IT environments, ensuring seamless visibility across the board.

• Leverage AI for Automation: Harness AI-powered tools for proactive issue detection, anomaly prediction, and workflow automation to reduce manual interventions and enhance operational efficiency.

• Advanced Problem-Solving: Use advanced analytics from tools like Splunk ITSI and Dynatrace for root-cause analysis and real-time troubleshooting to resolve incidents faster.

• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate new features, industry trends, and emerging tools to maintain leadership in IT monitoring and ensure configurations remain optimized for peak performance.

• Collaborate & Educate: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and support teams to ensure rapid incident resolution, and create documentation and training materials to foster a proactive, data-driven culture.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT monitoring, with hands-on experience in Broadcom DX OI and at least one alternative tool.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency with anomaly detection, data visualization, and AI-driven monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform integration and log aggregation.
  • Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid IT monitoring.
  • Experience using machine learning in proactive IT monitoring.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
