Your Mission:

As a Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician, you’ll be the hands and heart of critical IT operations. From unboxing servers to troubleshooting enterprise-level hardware, you’ll ensure that the systems driving some of the world’s top businesses remain secure, reliable, and efficient.

What You'll Do:

???? Hardware Installation & Maintenance: Unbox, rack, and stack servers, storage, and network devices.
???? Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware and connectivity issues with servers, power, and network devices.
???? Asset Management: Audit inventory, track hardware, and maintain meticulous documentation.
???? Infrastructure Excellence: Install and organize cabling, patch panels, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
???? Client Support: Act as the first point of contact for customer issues, participating in support calls and resolving technical challenges.
???? Incident Response: Join call bridges to troubleshoot and manage critical infrastructure issues.
???? Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members.

What You Bring:

???? Technical Proficiency:

• Strong knowledge of servers, routers, and network switches
• Hands-on experience with enterprise hardware maintenance
• Familiarity with cable management best practices

???? Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)
• 3-5 years in a data center or help desk environment
• CompTIA A+ certification required (Network+ preferred)

???? Skills That Set You Apart:

• Strong troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with infrastructure components like racks, patch panels, and cabling
• Proficiency in tools such as Active Directory and enterprise ticketing systems
• Knowledge of copper and fiber cable testing

???? Preferred:

• BICSI Installer 1 certification
• Familiarity with HIPAA, X12, and enterprise networking
