As the Associate Director of Data & Analytics Governance, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and optimizing the data landscape within a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry. ???? Lead Evolution in Governance: Drive the next chapter in data & analytics governance, focusing on advanced AI, analytics, and privacy protection. Develop and enhance governance policies and best practices.
???? Set the Data Strategy: Establish and enforce strategic guidelines for the appropriate use of data across the enterprise, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards and regulations.
???? Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with Legal, Compliance, Privacy, and other teams to develop a comprehensive governance framework that aligns with our ethical and operational standards.
???? Global Impact: Collaborate with international counterparts to standardize and protect data assets across geographies, balancing local and global needs to maintain data integrity.
???? Ensure Compliance & Privacy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to safeguard data privacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and data security protocols.
???? Promote Data Literacy: Drive data literacy across the organization, empowering teams with the knowledge and tools to use data effectively and responsibly.
???? Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Business Administration, or a related field, with 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
???? Governance Expertise: Proven experience in managing data & analytics governance functions, with a focus on policy development, standardization, and privacy protection.
???? Industry Knowledge: Experience with pharmaceutical data (e.g., Xponent, PlanTrak, DDD, LAAD) is a plus, along with the ability to manage third-party vendor relationships.
???? Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring the organization’s data governance vision is clear, communicated, and implemented across all teams.
???? Organizational Leadership: Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle complex issues, prioritize multiple initiatives, and manage vendors, contracts, and budgets effectively.
???? Global Mindset: Comfortable working with international teams, understanding the nuances of domestic and global data governance.
