We are seeking a talented individual to join our I.T. Applications team, where you will play a critical role in the integration and management of complex systems that impact patient care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Analysis & Support: Independently analyze and present data for both ad-hoc and standing customer requests. Provide technical support for HL7 interfaces between Health Information Systems (HIS) and ancillary application systems.
  • SQL Expertise: Lead database management tasks such as creating and maintaining standard database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, etc.). Proficiently use SQL Server Management Studio and contribute to the development and maintenance of SQL Server databases.
  • SFTP and HL7: Support the setup and maintenance of SFTP systems and troubleshoot HL7 interface issues, ensuring smooth data flow across platforms.
  • System Testing & Project Leadership: Lead system/application testing alongside end users, work with the PMO office to coordinate efforts, and update stakeholders on project progress.
  • Application Support: Provide guidance and troubleshooting for hospital associates using key software, helping ensure operations run efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Research new data sources and develop new analytical tools to enhance product delivery and improve workflow.
  • Training & Education: Conduct training sessions for hospital associates and support teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to utilize IT applications effectively.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Six years of experience in programming, analysis, or software support. A strong background in Microsoft SQL relational databases and HL7 Interface Engine support is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Meditech NPR, SQL, Visual Studio Development, and Polaris. Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and system analysis practices.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Prior experience working in healthcare is highly desirable, along with familiarity with the JCAHO survey process and related IT regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring successful outcomes.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Business/Management, Health Care Administration, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
