As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll collaborate with IT experts, technical teams, and business partners to bridge the gap between data and business strategies. You'll help define system goals, create technical solutions, and provide critical insights across projects. What You'll Do:
- Partner with IT, architects, and development teams to align business goals with technical solutions.
- Create and refine business and technical requirements using techniques like workflow design and data modeling.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and ETL processes.
- Develop data-driven reports and dashboards using advanced querying techniques.
- Provide key insights to technical teams by analyzing data flows and system interdependencies.
- Lead or support system and user acceptance testing efforts.
What You Bring:
Must-Have Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the P&C Insurance domain with a Business Intelligence background.
- Expertise in data management activities such as mapping, modeling, queries, and integration.
- Proficiency in ETL processes and database tools (DB2, SQL, Oracle).
- Knowledge of stored procedures, packages, and triggers with a focus on performance analysis.
- Proven ability to craft testable requirements (functional and non-functional).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Hadoop and Mainframe systems.
