The Department of Computer and Information Science (CIS) at University of Michigan-Dearborn invites dynamic and forward-thinking scholars to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Computer Systems.

Exceptional candidates may be considered for the Associate Professor rank based on experience and qualifications.

What You’ll Do:

• Innovate & Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in areas like cloud/edge computing, IoT, and quantum computing, supported by established labs and federal/industry funding.
• Inspire the Next Generation: Teach and mentor students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Secure Funding: Pursue and manage sponsored research initiatives.
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with other brilliant minds within and beyond the university to address critical technological challenges.

What You Bring:

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline (completed by September 1, 2025).
• A track record (or strong potential) for scholarly research and publication.
• A passion for teaching, mentoring, and community engagement.
