What You’ll Be Doing:
- Experiment & Develop: Lead the entire model development lifecycle from prototype to delivery, applying best practices for reproducible research and software delivery.
- Collaborate: Work with a global team of experts, sharing knowledge, ideating, and solving real-world problems together.
- Deliver: Ensure timely, well-managed deliverables while maintaining a high standard of research quality.
- Innovate: Be empowered to try new approaches, experiment with emerging technologies, and develop groundbreaking AI solutions.
- Inspire: Communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Manage: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Applied Scientists and Research Engineers, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
What We’re Looking For:
- A PhD in a relevant discipline or Master’s with significant experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience developing IR/NLP systems for commercial applications.
- Leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in Python, MLOps, and related technologies (e.g., containerization, cloud infrastructure, model governance).
- Proven ability to translate complex problems into impactful AI solutions.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models and experience in applying state-of-the-art research to solve real-world issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with research publications in top-tier conferences (ACL, NeurIPS, ICLR, SIGIR, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
