As a Senior IT Auditor, you will be pivotal in safeguarding Umpqua Bank's operations by assessing the risks and controls that power our systems. You’ll work on a variety of complex projects in an agile environment, ensuring our technology meets the highest standards. From planning and executing risk-based assurance projects to championing process improvements, you’ll make a direct impact on our internal controls and risk mitigation efforts.

- Scope & Execute: Lead audits of IT processes and systems to assess risks and controls.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work with cross-functional teams, including internal audit and business unit leadership, to address critical audit challenges.
- Technology Insights: Leverage data analytics, digital banking, and cybersecurity expertise to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Advocate for improvements in both processes and technology, ensuring Umpqua Bank stays ahead of industry trends.
- Clear Communication: Deliver audit results to leadership, internal audit management, and external auditors with clarity and precision.
???? What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 4-7 years in IT auditing, risk management, or a related field, with proficiency in digital banking, IT security, and data analytics.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, IT, or a related field.
- Certifications: CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Tech Expertise: Proficiency in IT auditing techniques, risk management tools, and the latest trends in generative AI and data analytics.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage complex projects, guide teams, and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
