At Ecolab, we’re looking for a Category Manager to take the reins and lead the Procurement of Direct Materials for our North America Sourcing Team. This is a strategic role where you’ll manage a $100+M portfolio of inorganic chemicals and collaborate across global teams to drive efficiency, cost savings, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Drive Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies to reduce total cost, mitigate risks, and improve the security of supply for your $100M+ portfolio.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with global sourcing, supply chain, R&D, and marketing teams to align and implement procurement strategies.
- Optimize Costs: Leverage market intelligence, digital tools, and AI to optimize Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and ensure the best value for Ecolab.
- Sustainability Leadership: Support sustainability initiatives to future-proof procurement processes and reduce environmental impacts.
- Lead & Mentor: Lead, coach, and mentor procurement representatives to develop high-performing teams.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement (direct and indirect) with at least 3 years leading teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, supply chain management, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in procurement strategy, sourcing, and cost optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sustainability initiatives and supporting green procurement strategies.
- Familiarity with AI-driven procurement tools and data analytics.
