What You'll Do:

???? Content Strategy & Information Architecture:

  • Analyze eCommerce content to identify taxonomy gaps and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain category taxonomies, entity ontologies, and content tagging hierarchies to support searchability and user engagement.
  • Create and refine data models for front-end and back-end systems.

???? SEO & Metadata Optimization:

  • Ensure digital content is SEO-friendly, tagged with appropriate metadata, and optimized for dynamic content delivery.
  • Enhance onsite searchability and enable data analytics applications through taxonomy design.

???? Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with central and regional teams to align content structure with business goals.
  • Educate stakeholders on taxonomy best practices, knowledge workflows, and tagging strategies.

???? Data-Driven Improvements:

  • Gather and analyze data to identify technology requirements and define implementation frameworks.
  • Continuously assess and improve information architecture based on feedback and analytics.

What You Bring:

???? Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years in knowledge or content management.
  • 2+ years designing and implementing complex taxonomies/ontologies.

???? Technical Expertise:

  • Experience in SEO, metadata management, and data models for dynamic content delivery.
  • Knowledge of training machine learning systems using taxonomies.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI platforms is a plus.

  • Creative problem solver with strong project management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to educate stakeholders.
