What You'll Do:
???? Content Strategy & Information Architecture:
- Analyze eCommerce content to identify taxonomy gaps and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain category taxonomies, entity ontologies, and content tagging hierarchies to support searchability and user engagement.
- Create and refine data models for front-end and back-end systems.
???? SEO & Metadata Optimization:
- Ensure digital content is SEO-friendly, tagged with appropriate metadata, and optimized for dynamic content delivery.
- Enhance onsite searchability and enable data analytics applications through taxonomy design.
???? Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with central and regional teams to align content structure with business goals.
- Educate stakeholders on taxonomy best practices, knowledge workflows, and tagging strategies.
???? Data-Driven Improvements:
- Gather and analyze data to identify technology requirements and define implementation frameworks.
- Continuously assess and improve information architecture based on feedback and analytics.
What You Bring:
???? Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years in knowledge or content management.
- 2+ years designing and implementing complex taxonomies/ontologies.
???? Technical Expertise:
- Experience in SEO, metadata management, and data models for dynamic content delivery.
- Knowledge of training machine learning systems using taxonomies.
- Familiarity with conversational AI platforms is a plus.
