???? What You’ll Do:
As a Responsible AI Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that AI technologies are not only powerful but also aligned with ethical principles. You’ll work on the cutting edge of AI, focusing on issues such as Fairness, Transparency, Explainability, Robustness, and Privacy. Here’s a glimpse of your role:
- Develop Ethical AI Models: Design and implement AI models that prioritize responsible practices and compliance with ethical standards.
- Mitigate AI Risks: Identify and assess AI risks such as bias and fairness issues, then work to apply best practices and technical solutions to mitigate them.
- Optimize AI Systems: Enhance and maintain existing AI systems to ensure they perform at their best while adhering to ethical guidelines.
- Full AI Lifecycle Involvement: Engage in every phase of AI development – from data preparation, coding, and testing, to deployment and support.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with clients to build responsible AI solutions, providing them with the technical expertise and strategic insights they need.
- Continuous Learning & Advocacy: Stay ahead of trends in AI ethics, engage with academia, and participate in shaping the global responsible AI agenda.
- Documentation & Transparency: Maintain clear, transparent records of the AI development process, ensuring accountability and traceability.
???? What You Bring:
Experience:
- 5+ years in developing and deploying machine learning models using technologies like Neural Networks, Regression, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision.
- Proficient in Python, with 5+ years working in AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- 4+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) in AI environments.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically focusing on Responsible AI principles, such as fairness, explainability, and privacy.
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical fields.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passion for developing ethical AI solutions and commitment to continuous learning.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in specialized industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, or Communications.
- Advanced Certifications: Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) or Responsible AI certifications from organizations like AIPP.
- Emerging AI Trends: Familiarity with GenAI, prompt engineering, and AI solution architecture for cloud platforms.
- Cybersecurity Experience: Knowledge of cybersecurity and red teaming practices in AI.

Compensation:
Salary ranges vary based on experience and location.
- California: $73,800 – $220,400
- Colorado: $73,800 – $190,400
- District of Columbia: $78,500 – $202,700
- New York: $68,300 – $220,400
