About the Role:

As a Professor (Open Rank) at the Center for Bioethics and Humanities (CBH), you will spearhead empirical research that tackles critical questions surrounding AI ethics, law, and policy in healthcare. You’ll collaborate with world-renowned experts at the Center for Health AI, contribute to transformative research, and help shape the ethical landscape of advanced healthcare technologies.

  • Research Excellence: Develop and lead innovative research programs focused on AI ethics, policy, and regulation.
  • Grant Leadership: Craft and secure extramural research grants.
  • Publish & Share Knowledge: Publish in high-impact journals and share findings at national and international forums.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Forge strategic partnerships across CU’s dynamic research community, particularly with the Center for Health AI.
  • Mentor Future Leaders: Guide research assistants, postdocs, and junior faculty in advancing bioethics scholarship.

  • Hold a doctoral degree (PhD, JD, MD, or equivalent).
  • Have research expertise in bioethics, AI ethics, health policy, or related fields.
