Position: Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering
Location: Pueblo, Colorado
Salary Range: $75,000 to $82,000

What You’ll Do

• Teach and Inspire: Lead engaging courses in industrial engineering and related disciplines at both undergraduate and master's levels.
• Research and Innovate: Pursue scholarly activities, secure grants, and collaborate on groundbreaking projects in emerging fields such as AI, operations research, and quality control.
• Advise and Mentor: Guide and support students on their educational journeys, cultivating a pipeline of future engineering leaders.
• Serve and Lead: Contribute to the growth and innovation of our dynamic School of Engineering and the larger CSU Pueblo community.

What You Bring to the Table

Minimum Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field (earned by the start date).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Physical Science.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.

Preferred Qualifications:

• P.E. license or eligibility.
• Industry experience and expertise in simulation, project management, or AI.
• Proven success in collegiate teaching and grant development.
• Dedication to research and applied learning in engineering.
