Platform Engineering manager
Location: Houston, TX
Job Summary:
Lead a high-performing team of platform engineers in designing, building, and maintaining internal SRE, testing, and developer productivity tools. Ensure seamless delivery of scalable storage solutions, driving innovation and growth in AI, Cloud, and Developer Productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
2. Technical Expertise: Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable storage solutions for customers' applications, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering teams, and cross-functional teams to define priorities, timelines, and project deliverables.
4. Innovation: Drive innovation, exploring new technologies and approaches to improve developer productivity, AI, and Cloud capabilities.
5. Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful project delivery.
6. Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address technical challenges, providing solutions to ensure smooth operation of storage infrastructure.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience managing engineers in an AI and Cloud environment.
- Strong technical background in platform engineering, SRE, and software development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
