We are seeking an experienced Lead Machine Learning Operations Engineer to join our dynamic Machine Learning Engineering Team. You’ll be at the forefront of our AI/ML solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies and driving AI capabilities that enhance our data science operations.

Your Role:As a Lead Machine Learning Platform Engineer, you’ll work on exciting, high-impact projects including the development and iteration of our ML/AI solutions. From enhancing GenAI capabilities to creating reusable frameworks and ensuring seamless deployments, you’ll be the guiding force in shaping our AI/ML landscape. You’ll also play a vital role in building the Center of Excellence for GenAI, providing critical guidance to multiple data science projects and establishing best practices for all things AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI Development: Spearhead the development of AI solutions for the ML platform, working with tools like GenAI, OpenAI, DBRX, and Mosaic ML.
- Create a Center of Excellence: Establish and govern GenAI use cases, building solutions, and setting best practices for the wider organization.
- Enhance ML Frameworks: Build, maintain, and document reusable Python frameworks that support a variety of AI/ML initiatives.
- Automate & Optimize: Develop CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployment, incorporating MLOps best practices to ensure smooth and efficient production workflows.
- Monitor Performance: Implement and enhance monitoring capabilities for the performance of models in production, ensuring high effectiveness and reliability.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to support and enhance AI/ML projects across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD is highly preferred.
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in Data Analytics & AI, with at least 5 years in ML Engineering and MLOps. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerized solutions is a must.
- Skills in Programming: Expertise in Python and popular data science packages (Numpy, Pandas, Sklearn, PySpark), with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and version control systems like Git.
- AI/ML Expertise: Experience with frameworks for big-data analytics such as Spark, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory, along with tools like MLFlow and Azure DevOps.
- Clear Communication: Strong skills in collaboration, with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts for cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Flask).
- Familiarity with AI techniques (e.g., cognitive AI, statistics, machine learning).
- Experience building scalable ML systems and data-driven products.
