What You’ll Be Doing:
???? Drive Innovation with AI/ML:
- Join a cutting-edge team where you’ll apply your expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Search, Conversational Agents, and AI Optimization.
- Be a pioneer in building state-of-the-art AI solutions that address real-world challenges, directly impacting how enterprises and teams work.
???? Design & Experiment:
- Architect new systems and models to improve our products using AI/ML techniques.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and model evaluations to refine and enhance Atlassian's AI-driven features.
???? Collaborate & Contribute:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to apply your research to product challenges, improving team collaboration, project management, and productivity.
- Contribute to the growth of Atlassian Intelligence and shape the future of AI in enterprise solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
???? Educational Background:
- Currently obtaining or have recently obtained a PhD in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in AI/ML, LLMs, and Optimization.
???? Technical Expertise:
- Experience building and scaling machine learning models with large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Python, and hands-on experience with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and Hugging Face.
- Understanding of advanced AI techniques, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), Reinforcement Learning (RL), and Computer Vision (CV).
???? Creative Problem-Solving:
- Thrive in tackling ambiguous problems, breaking them down into manageable tasks, and creating innovative solutions.
- Excels at navigating complex technical challenges and iterating on solutions in an agile, development-driven environment.
Compensation & Perks
At Atlassian, we believe in equitable pay. Depending on your experience and location, compensation will be aligned with competitive industry standards.
- Base Pay: $143,900 - $231,100 (based on location and experience)
