What You’ll Do:

???? Build Cutting-Edge ML Technologies:

• Develop advanced machine learning and deep learning models to enhance personalization across Pinterest.
• Use the latest advancements to create recommender systems and drive improvements for key areas such as Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search.
• Leverage data-driven methods to improve candidates' retrieval and develop systems that learn from massive datasets.

???? Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work hand-in-hand with teams across Pinterest to experiment with and improve ML models for various product surfaces.
• Dive deep into how ML operates across different areas, enhancing your knowledge while making an impact.

? Drive Quick Experimentation:

• Work in a high-impact environment, experimenting with and launching product updates rapidly.
• Keep up with the latest industry trends in recommendation systems and bring innovative ideas to life at scale.

What We’re Looking For:

???? Required Experience:

• 2+ years of industry experience applying machine learning techniques, including user modeling, personalization, recommender systems, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
• Hands-on experience building data processing pipelines, large-scale ML systems, and working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

???? Nice to Have:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning or related fields.
• Publications at top ML conferences (bonus points!).
• Expertise in scalable real-time systems that handle stream data.
• A passion for applied machine learning and a deep love for the Pinterest product.
