The World Economic Forum is an international organization dedicated to improving the state of the world through public-private cooperation. As a Lead in Responsible Data and AI, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that AI and data continue to drive positive change while addressing their multifaceted challenges. You’ll be at the forefront of designing and managing initiatives that influence the adoption of responsible AI practices, data governance, and ethical technology policies on a global scale.

Join our Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in San Francisco, where we work with governments, industries, academia, and civil society to navigate the future of AI, data, and emerging technologies, ensuring equitable, human-centered transformation across industries, economies, and societies.


What You’ll Do:

???? Design & Execute Impactful AI and Data Initiatives:

  • Lead initiatives that address key challenges in data governance, AI model development, cross-border data flows, and more.
  • Build strategic frameworks that empower business leaders and policymakers to anticipate and navigate the societal impact of data and AI technologies.

???? Foster Collaboration Across Sectors:

  • Build and manage multistakeholder communities spanning government, business, and civil society to address the global challenges of data sovereignty, AI ethics, and innovation.
  • Leverage your expertise to bridge gaps between industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and entrepreneurs, working to shape the future of data-driven economies.

???? Create Thought Leadership:

  • Contribute to reports and publications that shape the global discourse around data and AI’s role in society.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating key insights into our strategic and operational plans.

???? Drive Entrepreneurial Innovation:

  • Lead the design, piloting, and iteration of AI-related solutions using user-centric design methodologies.
  • Ensure all initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact, all while managing teams and stakeholders effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

???? Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data and AI, with a strong focus on governance, ethics, and responsible technology deployment.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as AI, data science, policy, or technology ethics.
  • Proven experience in leading medium-to-large scale projects, including multi-stakeholder collaborations in the AI and data space.

???? Desired Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of the AI ecosystem and the challenges of data sovereignty, intellectual property, and cross-border data flows.
  • Demonstrated ability to create actionable business strategies in the context of data and AI or related technologies.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a track record of publishing articles or speaking at international forums on AI, data governance, or emerging technologies.

Additional Information:
