Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Data Scientist at Prescient Edge, you will play a crucial role in supporting USCENTCOM's intelligence systems architecture and communications. Your responsibilities will include:
IT Architecture Support:
- Develop DoDAF-derived architecture views (operational and system architecture) to ensure effective solutions for USCENTCOM and theater components.
- Design and integrate intelligence applications and communications for USCENTCOM’s planning efforts and coalition integration.
- Create technical architecture documents, diagrams, and reports for USCENTCOM J2 IT projects, ensuring they meet high standards of clarity and professionalism.
Research & Innovation:
- Conduct in-depth research into IT systems, applications, and hardware solutions to propose innovative capabilities for end-to-end solutions.
- Identify new technologies and capabilities that enhance the effectiveness of intelligence operations.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Engage with USCENTCOM Directorates, Divisions, and Combat Support Agencies to ensure IT systems align with intelligence requirements and deployment schedules.
- Support coalition integration efforts by gathering, vetting, and tracking information sharing requirements with both traditional and nontraditional mission partners.
System Optimization:
- Engineer solutions to address any USCENTCOM J2 IT system-related issues and define hardware/software requirements.
- Document technical specifications and ensure compliance with engineering design standards and security protocols.
Strategic Communication:
- Develop and deliver briefings to coalition stakeholders on information sharing requirements, technical solutions, and system integration efforts.
- Support the migration planning for deactivated systems and oversee the design of new systems to improve information sharing within the USCENTCOM AOR.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or related fields, with at least a portion of this experience within the last 2 years.
- Strong background in IT architecture, intelligence systems, and communications integration.
Education:
- Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution, or a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (total of 17 years of experience).
Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance with CI POLY or the ability to obtain it.
Location:
- USCENTCOM HQ, MacDill AFB, Florida
