- Machine Learning & AI: Build and deploy modern AI models to improve financial forecasting, drive insights, and enhance core financial processes.
- Data Exploration & Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets, uncover key patterns and insights, and translate them into actionable strategies to inform financial decision-making.
- Modeling & Improvement: Collaborate with financial analysts to iteratively refine models, ensure they remain accurate over time, and measure their impact on financial outcomes.
- Technology Exploration: Explore emerging technologies and evaluate how they can be leveraged to enhance and optimize financial processes and forecasting accuracy.
- Data Stewardship: Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of financial data by adhering to strict data stewardship principles.
- Collaborative Leadership: Manage complex processes, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Effectively communicate model outcomes and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years of industry experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning and AI applications.
- Educational Foundation: BS, MS, or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient with modern data science tools and languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, NoSQL) and familiar with large-scale data manipulation.
- Financial Insights: Experience applying data science in financial processes, such as forecasting, reporting, or analysis is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights, tell compelling stories with data, and motivate stakeholders to act on your recommendations.
