Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid: In-office Tuesday through Thursday)
Compensation: $128,000 - $145,000 + Equity & Variable Bonus

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our fast-growing Client Data & Measurement team. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with stakeholders, architects, and engineers to define, refine, and cleanse data for analysis and modeling.
• Analyze & Solve: Build and analyze large, novel datasets to extract actionable insights that inform business decisions.
• Lead Projects: Prioritize and manage large-scale data science initiatives that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
• Model & Optimize: Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to build, measure, and optimize predictive models.
• Mentor & Educate: Share your expertise and provide guidance to peers and other teams across Ibotta.
• Drive Data Solutions: Create trustworthy, scalable datasets and inform experimental design to address business challenges.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 5+ years in data science or machine learning, driving impactful business outcomes
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field
• Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Python or R (Spark or PySpark is a plus)
• Analytical Prowess: Strong statistical analysis skills, including experimental design and time-series analysis
• Machine Learning Mastery: Experience with algorithms like Causal Impact, Linear Programming, Bayesian Neural Networks, and Markov Decision Processes
• Data Engineering: Proven ability to manipulate complex data within distributed systems and data lakes
• Storytelling: Exceptional ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations
