The University of Baltimore is seeking skilled and dynamic Artificial Intelligence Threat Analysts to lead groundbreaking efforts in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating synthetic and augmented media threats. Help protect communities and enhance law enforcement investigations with innovative AI-driven solutions.


What You'll Do

???? Investigative Intelligence:

  • Identify, analyze, and index AI-generated synthetic and manipulated media.
  • Generate actionable insights and investigative leads for allied law enforcement agencies.
  • Assess and report on emerging AI threats and technological trends.

???? Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with federal, state, and local agencies to share insights and intelligence.
  • Develop relationships with AI and first-responder experts for information exchange.
  • Deliver briefings to ensure awareness of current and emerging threats.

???? Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Use data analysis tools to prepare visual presentations for decision-makers.
  • Produce timely, relevant threat assessments to aid investigative efforts.

???? Continuous Learning:

  • Stay on the cutting edge of AI development and threat mitigation strategies.
  • Attend advanced training to maintain expertise in AI and intelligence analysis.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Data Science)
  • 3-5 years of intelligence analysis, data science, or IDE experience
  • Strong skills in open-source intelligence collection and Python programming
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch)

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of outreach, liaison, and AI-driven analysis experience
  • Experience in AI technology development and law enforcement investigations

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in data analysis, Python, and machine learning tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and investigative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance
