As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll take ownership of the entire data journey for a business process, from data mapping to data lineage to transformation. What You’ll Do:

• Become the Data Guru: Lead the way as the center of excellence on Goddard data, mastering everything from source systems and data warehouses to reports and dashboards.
• Spot Trends, Drive Action: Identify data patterns and trends, then deliver actionable recommendations that help the business make smarter, data-driven decisions.
• Master Data Management: Develop and execute Enterprise Data Management policies, ensuring consistent, high-quality data management across teams and platforms.
• Web Analytics Pro: Dive deep into Google Analytics 4 (or similar tools) to identify valuable insights about website and app performance, directly influencing business strategies.
• Solve Complex Problems: Use your analytical skills to troubleshoot data issues and discrepancies across systems, providing clear solutions for the team.
• Create Impactful Reports: Deliver Business Intelligence metrics, data visualizations, and insights that tell the story of our business performance and drive future strategy.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to develop data-based solutions that tackle real business challenges.

What We Need From You:

• Proven Experience: At least 10 years in the tech industry, with 6+ years specifically as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst in Data & Analytics solutions.
• Strong Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL and Python for data manipulation, plus hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• Web Analytics Savvy: 1-2 years of experience working with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: You know how to approach complex problems and think critically, all while influencing senior stakeholders with well-informed insights.
• Master of Data Hygiene: Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to data quality and accuracy – you don’t miss the small stuff!
• Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and influence stakeholders based on data-driven findings.
• Agility: Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment.

Nice to Have:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications in Data Analytics/Engineering to further showcase your expertise.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, and a strong interest in predictive models.
