What You’ll Do:

• Teach & Inspire: Lead graduate and undergraduate courses in data science, machine learning, and related fields, preparing the next generation of data scientists.
• Conduct World-Class Research: Engage in cutting-edge research in health informatics, medical informatics, or educational data mining, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and technology.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work with faculty, students, and external partners on research projects that bridge the gap between theory and application, making a tangible impact on real-world problems.
• Mentor the Next Generation: Advise and support graduate, undergraduate, and postdoctoral students, guiding them in their academic and research endeavors.
• Secure Funding: Lead efforts to secure external funding for research, furthering your impact in your field of expertise.
• Contribute to NJIT’s Growth: Participate in NJIT’s academic and extracurricular activities, contributing to the vibrant and collaborative community.

What You Bring:

• Ph.D. by Summer 2025 in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Health Informatics, or a related field with a proven track record of world-class research.
• Strong academic credentials that demonstrate your ability to attract external funding and conduct independent research.
• A commitment to education, with a passion for both undergraduate and graduate teaching.
