The Role:

They are looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to join their growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning solutions that will address complex business challenges.

As a key technical lead, you'll guide the direction of ML and AI projects, work alongside domain experts and product managers, and mentor junior team members. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your advanced ML knowledge while driving innovation in a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect & Develop: Design and develop sophisticated machine learning models to solve business challenges and adhere to best practices while integrating with AWS services.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with domain experts and product managers to align business needs with actionable ML solutions.
  • Innovate: Stay on the cutting edge by learning and applying advanced ML research to quickly solve complex, real-world problems.
  • Lead & Guide: Act as the principal point-of-contact for ML projects and provide mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Optimize & Deliver: Use data-driven decision-making to refine and optimize model performance, ensuring robust production-quality code.
  • Contribute to Special Projects: Participate in cross-functional initiatives, providing ML expertise and support as needed.

Ideal Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in software development with a focus on building commercial ML applications.
  • Programming Proficiency: Extensive experience with object-oriented programming languages like Java or Python.
  • ML Expertise: Deep experience in the machine learning lifecycle, from problem scoping to data gathering, model optimization, and deployment.
  • Frameworks & Libraries: Proficiency with ML/AI frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch), and expertise in data structures, data modeling, and statistical methods.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication and leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to guide technical direction and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
