Compensation: $96,700 - $220,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Exploration & Operationalization: Dive deep into diverse data sources, applying scientific methodologies to generate insights that support mission-critical defense operations.
- Client-Focused Solutions: Work directly with DoD clients, translating their requirements into actionable data science solutions. Lead small teams to develop and deliver high-quality, data-driven products.
- Advanced Analysis & Reporting: Synthesize large data sets, provide logical interpretations, and deliver concise reports that drive informed decision-making.
- Lead & Guide: Work independently, while mentoring and guiding junior data scientists to elevate the overall performance of your team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay on top of emerging data science trends, integrating new techniques to enhance capabilities in identifying, defining, and assessing foreign defense capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data science, with hands-on experience in Python and Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven experience working with DoD contracts and translating complex client requirements into impactful deliverables.
- TS/SCI clearance—you must be able to access classified information.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate data from multiple sources, draw conclusions, and adapt when presented with evolving conditions.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, timely reports and presentations in formats such as matrices, Microsoft Office tools, and web-enabled formats.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with AnyLogic and Tableau for advanced data visualization and simulation.
- Master’s degree in a scientific or technical field—preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of using innovative tools and techniques to analyze foreign adversary capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—capable of breaking down complex, highly technical information into clear, concise insights.
- A strong foundation in scientific or engineering methods for integrated, all-source intelligence assessments.
