What You'll Do:
As the AI Specialist Leader, you will play a pivotal role in transforming healthcare through AI solutions, including:
Lead AI Innovation in Healthcare:
- Advocate and execute AI strategies across healthcare systems, payers, and providers to optimize hospital operations and enhance patient care.
- Apply AI to medical imaging (including computer vision), Generative AI, and automation capabilities to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.
- Help define the technical strategy and lead the AI vision for large-scale healthcare systems, collaborating with operational leaders and clinicians.
Business Development & Client Relationships:
- Drive high-impact business opportunities and engage with healthcare clients to accelerate the adoption of AI services across the healthcare portfolio.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and executives, positioning Deloitte as a thought leader in the AI and healthcare space.
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and executive briefings to support AI business development efforts.
Leadership & Technical Delivery:
- Oversee an interdisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and solution architects to ensure the delivery of AI solutions in real-world healthcare environments.
- Be the voice of AI innovation for clients, helping them shape their AI strategies and translating complex technical concepts into actionable solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Bring:
Education & Experience:
- Master’s, Ph.D., or M.D. in a STEM field (preferably with a focus on AI, life sciences, or healthcare applications).
- 8+ years of experience in the life sciences, healthcare, or biotech sectors, with deep expertise in AI and ML.
- 5+ years of experience working with deep learning techniques (CNNs, RNNs, GANs, etc.), model tuning, and data science algorithms.
- 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and managing AI/ML analytics workloads.
Proven AI Leadership:
- Demonstrated success in shaping and delivering AI solutions in healthcare, including previous experience in business development, proposal management, and relationship building.
- Ability to engage with senior healthcare executives and the AI partner ecosystem to drive innovation and deliver value.
Skills & Expertise:
- Expertise in AI/ML, with a strong foundation in healthcare applications and operational optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with enterprise clients.

Compensation:
- Salary Range: $193,725 - $322,875 (dependent on experience, education, and location).
- You may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance.
