The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking Environmental Inspectors to work with our Environmental group out of our Roseville office. This is a dynamic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about environmental science and looking to work on exciting projects related to water and waste management, environmental compliance, and more.

Your Role:
As an Environmental Inspector, you’ll be a key part of our field and technical team, responsible for supporting environmental management projects through hands-on fieldwork and data analysis. This role will see you engaged in various tasks, including:

  • Field Data Collection & Documentation: Collect and document data related to soil, groundwater, surface water, and more.
  • Environmental Sampling: Conduct multi-media sampling, including soil, sediment, wastewater, and other environmental materials.
  • Site Work & Reporting: Perform site activities such as monitoring water quality, soil sampling, and reporting on results. Maintain detailed daily summaries and submit reports as required.
  • Health & Safety: Prepare health and safety documents, participate in meetings, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with construction teams, clients, and project staff to ensure environmental compliance and provide feedback on corrective actions as needed.

What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and in a team environment. Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Experience with Environmental Sampling: Knowledge of field sampling techniques, including the use of equipment such as pH meters, HACH meters, and other testing tools.
  • Construction Site Familiarity: Prior experience working at active construction sites, with a strong understanding of environmental compliance needs.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to speak clearly and effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Fieldwork Flexibility: A willingness to travel and work in the field, often in various weather conditions and with exposure to heavy equipment.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: A degree in earth science, geology, environmental science, or engineering (preferred).
  • Certifications: 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is required; OSHA Construction training and QSP certification are beneficial but not required.
  • Additional Experience: Experience in environmental sampling, stormwater monitoring, and construction-site environmental compliance is a plus.
