The Role: AI Feature Engineer
We’re seeking an AI Feature Engineer who is excited about designing and implementing cutting-edge AI features and data pipelines for a range of products, models, and services. If you're someone who thrives on solving complex problems, developing scalable systems, and working in a dynamic, cross-functional team, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable and reliable pipelines to support various AI models, ensuring data is clean, transformed, and ready for processing across cloud and on-prem systems.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineers, data scientists, AI scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative, data-driven features that drive value for our products and services.
- Develop and Implement AI Solutions: Design and deploy AI features using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras. Work with a variety of data types including text, images, time series, and more.
- Innovate with AI: Leverage the latest AI advancements in NLP, computer vision, and recommender systems to create features that enhance MiTek’s products.
- Quality and Integrity: Ensure the integrity and quality of the data that powers AI models, tackling any troubleshooting or challenges along the way.
- Documentation & Communication: Translate complex AI solutions into clear specifications and present results to diverse stakeholders with concise, understandable insights.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI features, working with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, SQL, and distributed computing platforms like Spark, Databricks, and Cuda.
- AI Expertise: Experience with AI techniques in domains like NLP, computer vision, speech recognition, and recommender systems.
- Tools & Frameworks: Familiarity with AutoML tools, cloud services, and working knowledge of various data formats.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
