The AI Data Specialist at Deloitte’s Human Capital Offering Portfolio will be at the forefront of AI-powered solutions that help organizations leverage their most important asset—their people. As part of our Human Capital as a Service (HCaaS) division, you will work on pioneering AI and machine learning capabilities, creating solutions that empower our clients to stay ahead in today’s ever-changing business landscape.
You’ll collaborate with a team of engineers, data scientists, and consultants, crafting innovative AI architectures, integrating Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multimodal models into client business strategies. What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Alignment & Vision: Define and execute the AI/ML/GenAI technical direction, ensuring alignment with client goals and digital transformation strategies.
- Architectural Design: Design end-to-end AI architectures, from data ingestion to deployment, integrating cloud and on-prem systems seamlessly.
- AI Solutions Research & Development: Drive the research and development of scalable AI/ML solutions, tackling real-world business challenges while considering quality, scalability, and cost.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Engineers, DevOps, and Business Leaders to implement AI-powered solutions and pilot innovative use cases.
- Consulting & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights on the latest AI trends, best practices, and potential business impacts to leadership.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the successful execution and continuous improvement of AI-powered applications using agile methodologies and MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
- Ethical AI and Risk Management: Address potential risks in AI models, ensuring ethical implementation, compliance with regulations, and robust security practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of related experience leading teams and managing AI/ML solutions, both onshore and offshore.
- Experience in designing and delivering AI solutions, including Generative AI, NLP, and computer vision.
- Proficiency in cloud-based AI/ML environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), with hands-on experience in deployment and integration.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective, scalable AI solutions.
- 5+ years in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in machine learning model development, NLP, and data analysis.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in a related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML technologies or cloud platforms like AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer.
- Experience delivering and productionizing Generative AI models or Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Deep understanding of MLOps, LLMOps, and cloud-native tools for model deployment and management.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $144,600 - $241,000 annually, with the potential for additional bonuses and incentives.
