We’re looking for two Expert Data Scientists to join our Center of Excellence in Data Science & AI, where you’ll use your technical leadership and AI expertise to make a broad impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with Influence: Act as a technical leader within the organization, influencing and advising multiple teams on AI/ML/GenAI strategies. Support teams across the company by providing mentorship, consulting, and guidance.

• Shape the Future: Lead the charge in the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks, data science standards, and processes to ensure product excellence across the company.

• Research & Innovate: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and assessing emerging AI technologies and contributing to thought leadership. Help define technical roadmaps that set the direction for AI and data science initiatives across the company.

• Mentor & Build Relationships: As an individual contributor, you’ll mentor junior team members, foster cross-functional collaboration, and help others develop their skills in AI/ML/GenAI.

• Drive Quality & Performance: Oversee the evaluation of AI/ML/GenAI models and solutions, focusing on performance, scalability, and validity. Ensure all models meet rigorous standards and contribute to long-term operational success.

• Shape Data Science Culture: Contribute to creating a community of practice by sharing your expertise, writing papers, presenting at conferences, and being an advocate for data science innovation in the wider industry.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Desired: Doctoral degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum Work Experience: 6 years in data science (or less if you have a Doctoral degree).

• Technical Competencies:

  • AI/ML/GenAI Expertise: Hands-on experience with AI governance, computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI models.
  • Leadership in AI/ML: Deep knowledge in model evaluation, optimization, feature engineering, and scalability.
  • Technical Communication: Proficiency in explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coding Mastery: Experience in software engineering for AI/ML applications. Proficient in Python, R, or similar languages and tools for developing data science models.
  • Emerging Technologies: Familiar with industry trends and have a track record of publishing, presenting, or contributing to open-source in AI/ML/GenAI.
