We’re looking for a Data Scientist: Advanced Analytics to leverage your expertise in statistical models, customer segmentation, and data mining to drive smarter business decisions and marketing strategies. You’ll play a key role in analyzing massive datasets, designing predictive models, and providing valuable insights that can influence strategic decisions and drive business growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Advanced Analytics: Work on predictive statistical models, customer profiling, segmentation analysis, and data mining to unlock valuable insights from large datasets.
• Hypothesis Testing & Modeling: Identify, test, and validate hypotheses to ensure statistical significance. Build predictive models that drive business decisions, and utilize data visualization tools to communicate your findings.
• Data Extraction & Processing: Dive deep into large datasets, pulling and processing data from data warehouses and data marts using SQL, SAS, R, Python, or PySpark to support critical business initiatives.
• Marketing Metrics Analysis: Analyze marketing data to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing activities and business outcomes. Use insights to shape strategies and improve campaign performance.
• Actionable Insights: Consolidate your findings into well-organized, consumable packages that are easy for marketers to understand and act upon (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Present these insights to peers, clients, and senior leadership using charts, graphs, and key takeaways.
• Data to Action: Transform complex data into practical, actionable marketing strategies that have a measurable impact on business outcomes.
• Project Management Support: Assist in the development of efficient project management plans, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of analytic solutions that drive business value.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field with strong academic performance in quantitative and analytic coursework.
  • Experience in working with large distributed datasets and using tools like Hive SQL, Spark, Python, and PySpark.
  • Proven expertise in SQL (traditional and distributed environments) and experience with Spark or MapReduce frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of data mining, statistics, and their application in real-world scenarios, especially within the context of marketing and business performance.

• Technical Skills:

  • Programming Expertise: Mastery of SQL, Python, R, and Spark for working with complex datasets.
  • Data Analytics: Proficient with commercial and open-source statistics and data mining packages.
  • Data Visualization: Experience creating clear, visually impactful reports and dashboards that make complex data understandable for stakeholders.

  • Strong Written & Verbal Skills: Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and business audiences through presentations, reports, and client-facing communications.
