The Impact You’ll Make:
- Policy Navigator: Stay ahead of emerging global data and AI regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act, EHDS, HGRAC), translating their implications for computational scientists.
- Strategic Collaborator: Partner with machine learning and computational biology experts to align AI/ML strategies with data assets and evolving policy landscapes.
- Visionary Architect: Shape and implement data strategies and access management plans that empower gCS and pharma-wide data ecosystems.
- Global Connector: Represent gCS in cross-functional initiatives to establish best practices for data usage across Roche.
- Innovative Problem-Solver: Evaluate external data providers and vendors to ensure compliance and foster data sharing excellence.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Unique Blend of Expertise: A combination of degrees or experience in biological sciences, public health, international policy, or informatics.
- Data & AI Policy Expertise: Deep understanding of global regulations affecting data use and AI.
- Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders and lead change management initiatives.
- Technical Understanding: Prior exposure to computational science environments; ML/AI development experience is a bonus.
- Exceptional Communication: Ability to craft messages tailored for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Nice-to-Have: CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification and hands-on ML/AI development experience.
