Role Overview:We're seeking a Sr. Data Science Engineer to join our Data Science & Analytics Department. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of developing cutting-edge data models for our chat-to-data skill in Realm-X Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to influence the way customers interact with our platform, building data solutions that power intelligent AI systems and enhance the user experience. You'll be instrumental in designing optimized data structures, evaluating model performance, and contributing to our ever-evolving machine learning codebase.

What You’ll Do:

• Data Discovery & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover data needs and design innovative solutions that support data transformation and streamlining across products.
• Modeling & Schema Development: Create and optimize data models, schemas, and databases to facilitate efficient data streaming in production environments.
• Product Success Metrics: Track product performance through key success metrics focused on conversational quality, relevance, and user satisfaction.
• Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and ML teams to build the foundational data models that power LLMs (Large Language Models) and other AI features.
• Model Evaluation: Experiment with different model architectures, training data variations, and fine-tuning techniques to assess and improve model performance.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Develop clear data documentation, including data dictionaries and lineage, to ensure accessibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in a technical role within Data Engineering or Data Science.
• Strong experience in Full Stack Data Science/Engineering, including transforming, storing, analyzing, and presenting data across the data stack.
• Expertise in DBT data modeling, object-oriented programming, and deploying model pipelines to production.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python (Pandas, Numpy, Spark) for efficient data transformation and analysis.
• Experience in data visualization and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to draw insights from complex datasets.
• Proficiency in AWS/Cloud technologies, version control, and Linux commands.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with product data at a software company.
• Familiarity with the Property Management and Real Estate industry.
• Experience with Kafka, Flink, or CDC pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLM Prompt Engineering.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $138,400 - $173,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
