As a Senior Data Analyst on our Value-Based Healthcare Analytics team, you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that support our value-based care partnerships with medical groups, provider associations, and integrated delivery systems. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in healthcare analytics and is passionate about using data to improve clinical and financial outcomes.
Be the SME: Act as the go-to expert for value-based care analytics, answering methodological and business case questions related to risk management and utilization.
Develop Actionable Models: Build and enhance financial models, reports, and dashboards to connect business outcomes with actionable insights, helping SCAN’s partners and leadership make data-driven decisions.
Support Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to evaluate medical economics, analyze care standards variations, and assess clinical program performance for quality and financial outcomes.
Enhance Reporting Systems: Lead the creation of regular and ad-hoc performance reporting, delivering data insights that drive continuous improvement and shape SCAN's value-based care strategies.
Innovate and Implement: Research and deploy new tools, frameworks, and strategies to improve care delivery models and optimize the performance of value-based care arrangements.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with departments such as medical management, finance, network management, and risk adjustment to align data solutions with SCAN’s business objectives.
Storytelling with Data: Present complex findings in clear, business-friendly language through engaging visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders at all levels.
Lead Projects and Mentorship: Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery, and provide mentorship to junior analysts to foster growth within the team.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
