What You’ll Bring:
- Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) & Attribution Expertise: Experience with marketing mix models, multi-touch attribution (MTA), segmentation modeling, forecasting, and other advanced marketing analytics techniques.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, R, Spark, or Matlab to handle and analyze big data, tackle online search, online advertising attribution, and marketing optimization challenges.
- Analytical Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on modeling and quantitative analytics experience or equivalent advanced degree with practical application.
- Background in Data Science: A degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in a relevant field such as Econometrics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Data Mining, Operations Research, Finance, or related disciplines.
We’d Love to See:
- Digital Analytics Experience: At least 1+ year working with Adserver/Web Analytics Logs and digital AdTech industry knowledge.
- A deep understanding of digital metrics, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing effectiveness and ROI.

As a Marketing Data Scientist at TransUnion, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing the way clients make data-driven marketing decisions. You’ll combine the art of marketing with the science of data analytics to solve some of the most complex challenges in the marketing world today.
You’ll help leading brands understand their customers better, evaluate the true impact of their marketing efforts, and improve strategies across multiple channels and platforms. You’ll work closely with a talented team of data scientists and consultants to provide insight into multi-million dollar marketing engagements that shape the direction of top Fortune 500 companies.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of multi-touch attribution models (MTA), marketing-mix models (MMM), and experimentation studies to optimize marketing effectiveness, ROI, pricing strategies, and brand equity.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver impactful analytics, developing solutions to help clients better understand customer behavior and the effectiveness of their marketing initiatives.
- Develop next-gen marketing analytics for unified, consumer-centric solutions, integrating new data assets such as identity data, cross-device insights, addressable TV, and much more.
- Analyze and derive actionable insights from marketing data that drives decision-making across all channels and platforms.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve online/offline marketing optimization, using data to enhance campaign performance and targeting strategies.
