We’re on a mission to transform healthcare — and we need a Sr. ML Ops Engineer to help us build and scale the ML pipelines that make our cutting-edge platform possible.
???? What You’ll Do:
- Build Scalable ML Pipelines: You’ll design, implement, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines that support the development, testing, and deployment of AI-driven models in production.
- Automate and Streamline: Create automated workflows for tasks like data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation, ensuring efficiency and consistency across the ML lifecycle.
- Monitor & Optimize: Keep a close eye on model performance in production, tweaking models and pipelines to ensure they meet accuracy standards while optimizing for efficiency.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside data scientists, software engineers, and other key stakeholders to seamlessly integrate machine learning solutions into our existing systems.
- Maintain Compliance & Security: Enforce the best practices for data security and ensure that all ML processes comply with industry regulations, keeping patient data protected at all times.
- Document & Report: Keep comprehensive documentation on all workflows and processes, and provide regular updates on model performance, system health, and key metrics to stakeholders.
????????? About You:
- Traditional & Deep Learning Expertise: You have hands-on experience with LSTMs, RNNs, SVMs, boosting, and the fundamentals of deep learning. You’re comfortable working with word embeddings and NLP models.
- JVM Proficiency: You are proficient in JVM-based languages, especially for ML tasks.
- Cloud ML Expertise: You’ve worked with cloud-based ML platforms, like Amazon Sagemaker, to deploy, scale, and manage models in a production environment.
- Tool Mastery: You’ve worked with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and you’re familiar with CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Search and NLP Frameworks: Experience with linguistic frameworks like Lucene, StanfordNLP, OpenNLP, SparkNLP, and ANTLR.
- Deep Learning Frameworks: Familiarity with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and applying neural networks to large-scale datasets.
- Signal Processing Fundamentals: You understand the core principles of signal processing and can apply them in real-world ML problems.
- Collaborative Spirit: You have a strong can-do attitude, a sense of ownership, and enjoy working with teams to solve complex problems.
- Clinical Data Savvy: Familiarity with clinical data, FHIR, and medical concepts is a plus!

- Healthcare Experience: You've worked with healthcare data before, especially clinical data modeling (e.g., OMOP, FHIR).
- Advanced NLP: Experience with Transfer Learning, Transformers like BERT & ELMO, and Multilingual NLP is a strong bonus.
- Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like Gatling, K6, or JMeter is a plus.
- Remote Work Experience: You've thrived in a remote work environment, and you're comfortable collaborating across different time zones.
