What You'll Do:

• Manage CRE Loan Portfolio: Oversee and analyze data related to our commercial real estate loan portfolio, ensuring we make informed, data-backed decisions about risk and returns.
• Ensure Data Integrity: Perform quality control on loan data, ensuring that existing information is accurate and comprehensive while identifying opportunities for additional data collection.
• Create Loan Reports: Develop and analyze reports on loan concentrations by type, collateral, geography, and industry, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Monitor Market Trends: Assess CRE portfolio performance across economic cycles and locations, identifying trends and forecasting potential risks.
• Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with the DFAST team on stress testing scenarios and collaborate with management for regular reports on loan loss adequacy.
• Leverage Data Tools: Utilize CoStar and Moody's REIS to conduct research and provide key insights to the management team.
• Lead Data Analysts: Provide supervision and oversight to the CRE data analyst team, ensuring that the overall function runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Educational Background: A degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or lending within commercial real estate.
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Expertise in Excel, including charts, graphs, and pivot tables. Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, and commercial real estate data platforms like Moody's REIS and CoStar.
• Management Experience: 1-6 months of related management experience, including overseeing junior analysts or teams.
• Strong Communication: Ability to present data and insights to management, boards, and other stakeholders effectively.
• Technological Aptitude: Comfortable using data management tools and willing to dive into more advanced software as needed.
