Position Overview:
As a Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of transforming healthcare with AI. You’ll have the opportunity to design and develop Generative AI models and workflows specifically tailored to the unique needs of the healthcare domain. Working with a team of experts, including data engineers, product designers, and clinical specialists, you’ll help create innovative solutions that enhance healthcare workflows and improve patient care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop AI-Driven Workflows: Build intelligent solutions to streamline note-taking in healthcare settings, improving efficiency and accuracy through cutting-edge GenAI and machine learning models.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with data engineers, product teams, and healthcare experts to ensure your solutions integrate seamlessly with healthcare workflows and meet industry standards.
- Address Healthcare-Specific Challenges: Navigate the complexities of HIPAA compliance, medical terminology integration, and standards like ICD, CPT, and HL7/FHIR to develop secure, scalable AI models.
- Stay on the Cutting Edge: Continuously explore the latest advancements in Generative AI, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and computer vision technologies to ensure your work is ahead of the curve.
- Model Deployment: Lead the charge in model deployment, ensuring that AI models are optimized, scalable, and can be easily integrated into healthcare environments.
- Contribute to Healthcare Innovation: Leverage your expertise to contribute to solutions that address real-world challenges, from improving patient care to optimizing administrative workflows in clinical settings.
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with multiple Generative AI models (e.g., Transformers, GPT, diffusion models).
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
- Experience with data preprocessing, model training, and deployment, ideally within the healthcare domain.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Generative AI & Machine Learning Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of generative models (e.g., GPT, Transformers) and proficiency in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare data structures, workflows, and challenges, including EMR/EHR integration, ICD/CPT coding, and standards like HL7/FHIR.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python (or similar languages) and deep familiarity with machine learning libraries.
- Voice Recognition & Transcription: Knowledge of voice recognition and transcription technologies is a plus.
