What You'll Do:
- Analyze Data: Work with both structured and unstructured data to uncover hidden patterns and trends. You’ll explore the data to identify opportunities that will drive real business value.
- Build Predictive Models: Design, build, and evaluate machine learning algorithms that predict key outcomes and solve complex business challenges. You'll prototype and experiment to find the best-fit models.
- Create AI/ML Prototypes: Develop analytical solutions in the form of AI/ML product prototypes that address customer needs and showcase the power of data science in action.
- Communicate Insights: Present your findings using data visualization techniques, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that inform strategy and decisions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering and product development teams to bring your machine learning models from concept to production—turning prototypes into full-fledged solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an analytical field like Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 years of domain experience in retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python (including libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) for data science programming.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
- Comfortable working with transactional data and time-series data.
- Understanding of data visualization and the ability to storytell with data.

- Prototyping: You’ll have a knack for creating fast, iterative prototypes to explore and validate AI/ML solutions.
- Collaboration: You enjoy working with engineers, developers, and product teams to integrate your models into scalable solutions.

- Growth Mindset: You're eager to stay updated with the latest in data science trends, tools, and techniques.
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills):
- Advanced Python Tools: Experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jupyter Notebooks, and libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, and Numpy.
- Experience with Spark: Familiarity with Apache Spark for big data processing.
- UI Skills: Experience with Flask, Plotly, or Streamlit for building user interfaces and data visualization apps.
- DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI), testing, deployment, and release methodologies.
- Kaggle Participation: If you’ve participated in Kaggle challenges or similar data science competitions, even better!
