This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the implementation of data-driven solutions that shape the future of life-saving medical technologies.
What’s the Role?
As a Business Relationship Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading data science projects at Abbott Medical Devices. You’ll work closely with a team of experts in machine learning, AI, statistical modeling, and data analytics to bring innovative solutions to complex challenges in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage medium complexity data science projects across multiple locations, ensuring they align with Abbott’s business needs (Marketing, Commercial/Sales, Clinical).
- Bridge the gap between business needs and data science solutions by translating business goals into actionable data projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects, meeting both short-term and long-term goals.
- Communicate project results to senior management and other stakeholders, presenting data in a clear, impactful way through presentations and reports.
- Build strong working relationships across diverse teams, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Travel approximately 10% (including international trips to Mumbai, India).
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years of experience in medical devices or healthcare analytics, with a strong background in working with global teams.
- Proven experience in project management, data visualization, and storytelling to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple, often concurrent, projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel, including international travel to our Mumbai office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with insurance claims data and knowledge of medical claims billing/coding is a plus.
- Ability to navigate a matrixed business model across divisions and regions.
